DESCRIPTION OF WORKS
Climate Engineering, working alongside T&B Contractors, have undertaken the latest phased redevelopment to provide new facilities to the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) at the Holborn campus.
LSE provide a dynamic and diverse education and research environment preparing the next generation to face the challenges of tomorrow. The aim of attracting the brightest minds from across the globe to make a lasting impact on society.
The project consisted of a complete refurbishment of the existing Teaching & Learning centre combined with the delivery of an extensive mechanical services package to a bespoke fit-out. The newly refurbished teaching & Learning centre will help provide LSE with facilities to further inspire the next generation. Our scope of works included the design and installation of;
- Heat Recovery Ventilation System
- New Air Conditioning Systems
- New Heating System
- New HWS Systems
- New CWS Systems
- New Drainage Systems
- Commissioning & Handover
The ability to hand over a snag-free space within specified time frames is essential in the delivery of educational projects as once operational, it is not possible to re-enter the space and interrupt students to conduct any remedial work.
